Wheel balancing

WHAT IS WHEEL BALANCING

When your tyres are spinning and the wheels are balanced, the wheels spin evenly. When a wheel is not balanced, the wheel will start to wobble as the speed increases. Not only does it cause uneven tyre wear, it can make your ride less comfortable than it should be,
Your tyres should be rotated and the front wheels balanced every six months.

DO I NEED A WHEEL BALANCE

People often get wheel alignment and wheel balancing confused. If you experience shaking of your vehicle, which you can generally feel through the steering wheel when you drive it on the highway, you probably need a wheel balance. Wheels that are out of balance wear significantly faster than wheels that are in balance.
Although we provide a free wheel balance on every new tyre we sell, you need your front wheels balance when you rotate your tyres

WHEEL ROTATION

Rotating your wheels or tyres means moving the front wheels to the back and vice-versa. This helps maintain even wear on your tyres, which means your tyres will last longer.
The wheels going onto the front during a wheel rotation require balancing. We will balance your tyres automatically, so you won't need to know it needs to be done.
